This work demonstrates a new polymer reaction based on reversible aminolysis utilizing the unique reactivity of difluoroacetate esters. -

A paper by Mr. Oguchi (M2) and Mr. Kuroiwa (M1) has been accepted for publication in Chemical Science. Read the article here.
This work is the result of a collaborative research project with Prof. Yanai (Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences) and the Seko Group (QST).
By combining a novel polymer reaction with graft polymerization technology, the study successfully immobilized highly acidic carbon acids on organic materials, providing a new strategy for the design of supported organic catalysts. -

A preprint by Ms. Matsubara (D1) has been posted on ChemRxiv.
In this work, we developed an interpretable machine-learning model capable of accurately predicting graft-polymerization conversion.
The model also enabled visualization and quantitative analysis of the key factors governing graft polymerization, a complex interfacial reaction process.
